The Role:

At The Resource Group, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for billing activities, ordering products, accounts payable, credit card activity reconciliations, accounts receivable, and assist in fiscal period close activities. As our Staff Accountant, this individual will also provide back up support for the Office Administrator/Accounting Clerk and the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Entering, reviewing and sending weekly service invoices.
  • Creating invoices for products and ordering that product from our vendors.
  • Creating fixed fee invoices.
  • Coordinating with project managers through weekly meetings any updates to schedule invoice dates.
  • Entering accounts payable for corporate expenses and ensuring our vendors are paid on time.
  • Reconciling monthly credit card activity.
  • Uploading weekly credit card transactions to expense reporting software.
  • Helping to close each financial period and to assist in the review of financial statements.
  • Collection calling and maintaining overdue accounts at less than 10% of overall Accounts Receivables.
  • Assisting in preparation of state and local business tax forms.
  • Assisting the admin team with organizing quarterly employee events to boost morale and encourage comradery.
  • Backing up the Office Administrator and Accounting Manager when that person is on leave.
  • Assisting in accounting for and depreciating corporate fixed assets.
  • Assisting in organizing information for annual federal taxes.
  • Maintaining an orderly system of accounting records, both physical and electronic.
  • Calculating commissions and reconciling commission reports.

Requirements

Potential applicants for our Staff Accountant position must possess strong computer skills, the ability to analyze figures, knowledge of accounting principles, and excellent verbal and written skills. They must be able to multi-task, establish priorities and organize efficiently. Knowledge of and familiarity with accounting software is also essential.

A minimum of a 2-year Associated Degree in Accounting.

Desired

A 4-year degree in Accounting. Prior experience working with either Microsoft Dynamics GP or Intacct accounting software would also be a plus.

The Role:

At The Resource Group, the Accounting Manager will maintain financial reports, records and general ledgers, prepare and analyze budgets and perform general bookkeeping. This position is also responsible for billing activities, ordering products, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This individual will also assist with entering payroll.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversight for the invoice to cash process for weekly help-desk incident billings, service invoices, milestone billings and product invoices.
  • Oversight to maintain overdue accounts less than 10% of overall Accounts Receivables.
  • Oversight for accounts payable processes ensuring employees and vendors are paid accurately and timely.
  • Managing all payroll processes utilizing our online payroll service.
  • Oversight of accounting for and depreciating corporate fixed assets.
  • Financial period closing processes and ensuring accuracy of financial statements.
  • Entering and reporting on corporate scorecards and KPIs.
  • Preparation of state and local business tax forms including fixed asset property valuation with the state.
  • Helping to create budgets, cash flow statements and J-curves for our various lines of business.
  • Managing the administrative department and representing it in the leadership meetings.
  • Maintaining an orderly system of accounting records, both physical and electronic.
  • Business process review for company accounting processes to scale with company growth/
  • Supporting the internal move from GP ERP software to Intacct ERP software.
  • Participating in and contributing to the Leadership team to help define company direction and growth.

Requirements

Potential applicants for our Accounting Manager position must a 4-year degree in Accounting, past experience analyzing and presenting data to management, a strong knowledge of accounting principles, proficiency with computers and Excel, and excellent verbal and written skills. They must be able to multi-task, establish priorities, organize efficiently, and manage the work of others. Experience in doing payroll and basic understanding of payroll laws is a must. Candidate must also be able and willing to learn our business intelligence software to create reports and dashboards.

Desired

Experience working with either Microsoft Dynamics GP or Intacct accounting software and BI360 business intelligence software would also be a plus.

The Role:

This is a full-time, permanent position with a leading ERP consulting firm with expertise in implementing and supporting business, financial, and business intelligence software solutions for mid-market companies, primarily throughout the Northwestern region of the US. We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence consultant to support our Services team in implementation consulting for Solver BI360 services & software.

Suitable candidates will have 5+ years’ experience implementing and consulting on end-to-end business intelligence solutions and manage BI projects for clients providing them with business insights which enable them to optimize their operational performance.
