TRG Performance Pack - Core Financials

Description — The TRG Performance Pack is a combination of our most commonly used enhancements to the core financial modules. These enhancements can help anyone who uses the core financial modules increase their efficency.

Key Features
  • Account segment zero fill - automatically fills each segment with zeros, which can be overridden by the user
  • Improved inquiry windows – all core financial transaction windows have been modified to show more information on the top row
  • Quick Bank Transaction entry – allows the user to set up a template bank transaction entry for reuse, similar to the GL Quick Journal Entry feature
  • Quick historical JE look up – allows the user to drill down to journal entries in closed years from the standard JE Inquiry window
  • Unposted source document drill down – drill down to the original source document in the GL Transaction window before you post the JE

TRG GL Copy/Paste

Description — Accountants love to build out Journal Entries in Excel. The TRG GL Copy and Paste enhancement allows the creation of a GL journal entry by doing a standard copy and paste function. Imagine just copying your Journal Entry in Excel and pasting it right into GP!

TRG Customer Statement
Primary Benefit(s) — Improved collections and customer service

Description — This enhancement creates an easy to read customer statement allowing your customers to better understand the status of their account. We have found from other GP clients this enhancement speeds up the collections process.

Key Features
  • Amount remaining per invoice – instead of the out-of-the-box report which shows a running subtotal, TRG Customer Statement shows the amount remaining on each document
  • Applied documents – partially and fully-applied credit memos and payments show directly beneath the invoice to which they are applied. Unapplied documents show at the bottom of the statement

TRG Project

Description — This enhancement allows you to setup projects, and track expenses and revenues to each of those projects. It includes inquiry windows and reports.

TRG 401(k) Reporting and Electronic File

Description — The TRG 401(k) reporting enhancement produces an Excel file showing 401(k) employee deductions, employer contributions, employee loan payment deductions.

  • Setup options to allow user to determine payroll codes to include
  • Can be saved to file, and use for electronic upload to 401(k) provider
  • Can be modified by TRG to meet specific needs for additional cost

TRG Credit Card Reconciliation

Module(s) affected — Bank Reconciliation

Description — The TRG Credit Card Reconciliation enhancement allows selection of individual credit card types (e.g. VISA, Mastercard, AMEX) transactions to be displayed on the reconciliation window. The normal GP window shows all credit cards at the same time, making it difficult to reconcile when you have multiple credit cards being used for purchases.

TRG Fixed Assets Account Control

Description — Trying to manage the accounting for fixed assets over multiple locations and departments? The TRG Fixed Assets Account Control enhancement allows the user to associate a GL segment value to a Fixed Asset Location and/or Structure. Fixed Asset accounts are then automatically updated for chosen segment values when an asset is added or changed.

  • Associate your GL segments to the Fixed Asset Location and/or Structure fields
  • Eliminate the need for the setup of multiple Asset Classes and Account Groups for each different segment value in your GL.
  • Fixed Asset accounts are automatically updated each time you add an asset or when you make a change to the location or structure values.

TRG Set SOP Distributions

Description — The TRG Set SOP Distributions enhancements is one of our most widely-used products. It is designed for companies that need to have the flexibility to post SOP revenue and COGS amounts to the GL based upon criteria other than items sold. For example, you can have the system automatically post to a GL account(s) based upon customer class, customer ID, sales territory, document ID, etc... This is a very customizable module, and we tailor it to meet your needs.

  • No user intervention required – it happens automatically at posting

TRG Remove Empty Batches

Description — Do you have a lot of empty batches showing up in Series Post? This is a typical problem, particularly in SOP. The TRG Remove Empty Batches enhancement automatically deletes any and all empty batches in a particular series with the push of a button.

  • One action from the Series Post window(s) clears all empty batches (zero transactions)

TRG Freight and Tax Allocation

Module(s) affected — Purchase Order Processing

Description — The TRG Freight and Tax Allocation enhancement allocates taxes and freight costs during invoice matching in Purchase Order across all items received. Distributions for freight and tax are automatically recalculated based upon the weighted cost of all the items.
