To Whom It May Concern: Over the past several years, we have been through three reservation software systems. The first system was a program that was written for the tourism industry and did not fit all of our needs and was manually intensive. The second system that we used was created from the ground up to fit our companies needs. We were told that we would start with the basic system and then continually get upgrades that brought in all of our needs and wants. This system continually crashed and never worked correctly. We lost a substantial amount of money with all of the down time that this system caused us. The third system is the current reservation system that we use today. It was created from the ground up by The Resource Group. We were able to incorporate all of our needs and wants along with automating many of our manual tasks. During this conversion, we also made the change from Mac to PC. The Resource Group was able to take all of our old data from the Macs and transfer it over to the new system so that all of our customer files were kept intact. This system has streamlined the reservation process allowing us to increase our level of customer service and cut down on expenses related to payroll, supplies, and customer issues. We no longer have down time and no longer have to take many of the extra precautions that we previously had to have in place to prevent major mishaps. This allows us to reap the full benefits of our train and the system. The team from The Resource Group was led by Scott "The God" Fenton. Scott and I worked closely for many months at both of our locations making sure that we had all of the essentials in place. Scott took the time to learn our business and understand our needs. Scott instantly clicked with both myself and my team. I would constantly bring new challenges to Scott and he would make it happen or come up with a better idea or how we could handle the situation. Scott was assisted by Stephen Payne and Elizabeth Bender. The teamwork that was created between all of us continues today. We are so pleased with the outcome of the system and have the confidence in The Resource Group that we are pushing to have this software become the industry standard.
