Seaport Steel Company has worked directly with the Resource Group since November of 2000. During this time they have installed, trained and modified our Microsoft Dynamics GP product to fit the needs of Seaport Steel Company.

Seaport Steel received on site training when implementing Microsoft Dynamics GP in 2000 and has continued training with classes at The Resource Group's office. Sheri Chandler has been providing phone support for various issues related to knowledge base learning of the various modules of Microsoft Dynamics GP. All support provided for learning and improving skills for utilizing Microsoft Dynamics GP have streamlined Seaport's daily operations of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable management and financial management with regards to banking and tracking expenses and cash flow.

Another benefit that has been necessary is the customization of Microsoft Dynamics GP - a service that is offered by The Resource Group. Since 2000 Seaport Steel Company has had assistance from Elizabeth Bender in customizing Microsoft Dynamics GP Accounts Payable module to fit the reporting needs of Seaport. Elizabeth has customized the entry of Accounts Payable to the actual line items that need to be entered. Also, Elizabeth has created a tonnage report for Seaport Steel that is generated from the custom Accounts Payable screen. After a batch has been completely posted, Seaport Steel is able to
generate custom tonnage reports for averaging daily, monthly or annually of all inventory items stocked.

The assistance from all the staff I have worked with has always been above standard from phone response, learning tools and customization.
