During our recent search for new enterprise wide software, we first evaluated five of the leading educational software packages from around the country. In each and every case, these software providers recommended Microsoft Dynamics GP as their preferred accounting platform. They also indicated that most of their customers use Dynamics GP and that they have written special interfaces just for it. Our financial accounting software solution was therefore a foregone conclusion, and we consequently spent little time on further analyzing the solution.

We were on a very tight implementation track with both the educational software package and Dynamics GP. We selected The Resource Group from a list of qualified local MS partners because of their specialization in Dynamics GP and their commitment to perform against a 60 day go live schedule. This was not ideal and was forced on us by delays in our educational software implementation. With a significant effort by both our staff and The Resource Group, we did go live within the 60 day window, which corresponded to the start of our new fiscal year. That first threshold enabled us to do basic transactional accounting.

One of the great aspects of working with them was the superior level of talent and experience of their consultants. They were without exception extremely knowledgeable about Dynamics GP, but their real strength was in their business experience and savvy - they really got it. They knew what we were talking about and quickly translated it to our set up. We continue with our learning process, but the curve is beginning to flatten out.

Lastly, one of the great benefits of working with The Resource Group has been the high quality training they offer in their Renton office. These sessions gave our team a solid understanding of each of the modules we trained in, including General Ledger, AP, FRx Reporting and Smartlist Builder.
