The Resource Group Nominated as 2008 Washington’s Best Workplaces

by Puget Sound Business Journal (Second year in a row!)

Sixty-five different companies across the state have made the grade as Washington’s Best Workplaces, by the Puget SoundBusiness Journal. The Washington’s Best Workplaces program was launched this year by the Business Journal to identify and recognize best practices in the hiring and retention of great people. After an extensive and rigorous process, which included more than 200 nominees and the completion of surveys by nominee-company employees across the state, workplaces in four different categories have been identified as Washington’s best. The finalists, 20 small companies, 20 medium-sized companies, 20 large companies and five nonprofits will be celebrated at a
one-of-a-kind awards event at Safeco Field on August 13th.

The Resource Group (TRG) has been ranked #6 for the Washington’s 100 Best Companies toWork For by Washington CEO Magazine.  The 100 companies were divided into 4 categories: Small (0-99 employees), Medium (100-499 employees), Large and Non-Profit/Governmental. TRG was ranked #6 in the small employee category out of 55 other companies!

100% Club recognizes outstanding sales achievements by individuals. TRG has sent individuals to 100% Club - an all expense paid retreat for individual marketing, sales and existing customer managers to celebrate success and start training for a new year.


 

Microsoft Partner of the Year Award 2007 Finalist

The Resource Group (TRG)was named one of three finalists for the 2007 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award for Microsoft Dynamics GP.  The Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognize partners that developed exemplary solutions for their customers during the past year. More than 1,800 entries were submitted by partners worldwide, and finalists were selected based on their dedicated use of Microsoft technologies to provide customer solutions. The winners will be honored at an awards ceremony at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2007, Microsoft's premier annual partner event taking place July 10–12 in Denver. TRG Recognized as one of 14 “Heritage Partners” at the Great Plains ReunionThe Journey Continues Great Plains Reunion
On June 15, 2007 over 1200 Great Plains team members, partners, customers, friends and family gathered in Fargo, ND to celebrate "The Journey" of success called Great Plains. People traveled from six countries and twenty seven states to share memories, create new ones, and revel in the community that was a big part of their professional lives over the 20-years that Great Plains operated as an independent company, led by founder and CEO, Doug Burgum. Marty and Denise Schillaci, co-owners of The Resource Group and Great Plains partners since 1988, attended the celebration and received recognition as being one of only 14 “Heritage Partners”.

Microsoft Pinnacle Awards

The Microsoft Pinnacle Awards, established in 1997, are presented annually and recognize the top Microsoft Dynamics customers that have achieved notable accomplishments with their Microsoft Dynamics applications. The Resource Group is proud to announce that two of our customers have received these prestigious Pinnacle Awards.  In 2007, Logos Research Systems won a Pinnacle Award for Excellence in Role based Sales, Marketing and Customer Service.  In 2005, Casey Family Programs won a Pinnacle Award for Excellence in Teamwork.  Receiving a Microsoft Pinnacle Award is a great achievement and a reflection of how the company embraces their Microsoft Dynamics solution and uses it to its fullest potential to achieve business success.  We are honored to continue to support Logos Research Systems and Casey Family Programs as their Microsoft Dynamics GP partner.

TRG was also named one of the "100 Fastest Growing Private Companies" by the Puget Sound Business Journal for 3 consecutive years ('99,'00,'01) and was back on the list in 2005 and 2006. This award honors the top 100 local companies for outstanding growth recognition during the previous fiscal years.

2006 Distinction in Marketing Award (July 2006)
The Resource Group received recognition for outstanding marketing execution in a 2006 Microsoft Dynamics campaign resulting in a trip to 100% Club in Hawaii. In May of 2006, Microsoft Dynamics partners throughout the U.S. and Canada submitted marketing campaigns for Microsoft's Distinction in Marketing Award, where three winners would receive a trip for two to Hawaii and $1,000 in marketing funds. The campaigns were reviewed by a panel of judges who examined the campaigns for the following criteria: business impact, innovation and creativity, results and effectiveness and TRG was one of the three winners selected.
